About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features an off-white fabric wingback design and includes a patterned blue accent cushion. This wingback armchair presents a clean, contemporary silhouette with a tall, curved backrest that flows into integrated armrests. The upholstery is finished in a neutral off-white fabric with a subtle texture, providing a soft aesthetic. The chair sits on tapered light wood legs that offer a natural contrast to the muted seat. A rectangular accent cushion with a detailed blue and white damask-style pattern is included, adding a pop of colour and visual interest to the centre of the seat. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for compact lounge areas.

The download is a 59.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed through standard object layering, allowing users to isolate the cushion from the chair frame for easier placement or texture modifications. The geometry is clean and scaled for real-world integration. Users can apply custom fabric shaders to the base upholstery or adjust the UV mapping on the accent cushion to suit specific interior colour palettes. The asset is designed for efficient viewport performance, supporting straightforward scene assembly without requiring complex subdivision or heavy memory allocation.

This wingback chair functions as a versatile accent piece in residential living rooms, bedrooms, or reading nooks. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or floor lamps to create a dedicated relaxation zone. Designers often search for this type of armchair when looking for neutral seating that balances comfort with a refined, modern profile. It is also suitable for hotel lobby suites or boutique office waiting areas where a sophisticated, inviting atmosphere is required to complement contemporary interior schemes.
