About this asset

This contemporary off-white fabric lounge chair SketchUp model features a distinctive tufted, low-profile design for relaxed seating. Characterised by its iconic low-slung, ergonomic profile, this lounge chair is defined by its deep tufted upholstery that creates a series of soft, quilted squares across the seat and backrest. The piece lacks a rigid frame, relying on its plush, foam-filled construction to provide structure and comfort. Its off-white fabric finish offers a neutral aesthetic, making it a versatile addition to modern interior schemes. The geometry follows a continuous, flowing form that transitions seamlessly from the floor to the backrest, emphasizing a relaxed, casual silhouette suitable for lounging areas.

The download is a 4.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best handled as a component to maintain file efficiency. Users should place the object on a dedicated furniture layer to manage visibility within complex scenes. Given its soft, organic geometry, it is ideal for populating interior renders where a high level of detail is required. Apply custom textures or adjust the material settings within the native material editor to achieve the desired fabric sheen and bump mapping for realistic lighting interaction in your final architectural visualisation.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and creative breakout spaces in modern office environments. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a larger informal seating arrangement. Professionals often search for this type of casual, low-profile seating when designing contemporary apartments or relaxed lounge zones. Its neutral colour palette allows it to integrate into various design styles, from minimalist to bohemian, providing a comfortable and visually engaging focal point for interior design projects.
