About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a round off-white fabric stool with a minimalist silhouette and a functional lower shelf. Characterised by soft, organic curves, this round stool presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The design consists of a circular padded seat supported by three integrated, curved side panels that extend downwards to form a structural base. A secondary circular shelf is positioned between these panels, providing a subtle storage surface beneath the primary seat. Finished in a uniform, light off-white fabric, the stool maintains a cohesive and soft appearance. Its compact proportions and fluid geometry make it a versatile piece, suitable for various interior settings where understated, functional furniture is required.

The download is a 3.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Optimised for 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot point at the base for easy alignment with floor surfaces. The fabric material is applied as a single, consistent texture mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the colour or material finish if needed. Ensure the scene lighting is set to highlight the subtle curvature of the side panels to maintain the intended soft, sculptural quality of the piece during rendering.

This stool serves as an excellent accent piece in modern living rooms, bedrooms, or dressing areas. It functions well as a compact ottoman, a small footrest, or a decorative side seat. Its neutral colour palette allows it to pair seamlessly with various interior design schemes, including minimalist, scandinavian, or contemporary spaces. Professionals frequently search for such pieces as 'round ottoman', 'small fabric stool', or 'minimalist footrest' when looking to complete a seating arrangement or add a functional, space-saving element to a room.
