About this asset

This contemporary off-white fabric L-shaped sectional sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a chaise and an integrated wooden side table. This L-shaped sectional sofa presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic with deep, comfortable seating and a low-profile frame. Upholstered in a neutral off-white fabric, the piece is accented by contrasting mustard yellow scatter cushions that add a vibrant touch to the minimalist design. A notable functional element is the integrated wooden side table attached to the end of the chaise, providing a seamless surface for small items. The structure is finished with plump, supportive back cushions, maintaining a balanced, inviting form suitable for modern residential interior schemes and open-plan living areas.

The download is a 6.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the base for easy placement on floor geometry. The fabric and wood textures should be managed via the material editor, allowing for quick adjustments to scale and tiling. Users can easily manipulate the cushions as individual objects to create a more organic, lived-in appearance. For optimal rendering, apply appropriate light maps and ensure the scene scale is consistent with the project units to maintain accurate proportions throughout the space.

This sectional is highly versatile for spacious residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and high-end apartment lounges. It serves as a central anchor for seating arrangements, pairing effectively with area rugs and low-profile coffee tables. Designers searching for modular seating, L-shaped lounge furniture, or contemporary fabric sofas will find this asset well-suited for high-quality architectural visualisations. It is particularly effective in projects requiring a clean, neutral base that can be easily styled with varied accent colours and textures to suit specific design palettes.
