About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a round pedestal table paired with four navy velvet chairs on slender metal legs. The set comprises a circular dining table with a dark, textured tabletop supported by a white, turned-pedestal wooden base. Accompanying the table are four matching dining chairs, each upholstered in a deep navy velvet fabric with a curved, shell-like backrest. The chairs are elevated on slender, tapered metal legs, providing a refined contrast to the substantial wooden table base. The ensemble includes a decorative tabletop arrangement, featuring glassware and a floral centerpiece, completing the look. This set balances traditional pedestal geometry with modern material choices and a bold, saturated colour palette.

The download is a 17.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the chairs and table components. Users can adjust the fabric material parameters to suit specific lighting conditions or apply custom maps to the tabletop surface. The pivot points are correctly positioned at the base of the objects, facilitating quick placement within a scene. Ensure the scene scale is set to metric to maintain the proportions of the pedestal base and chair height relative to standard floor levels.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, high-end breakfast nooks, or boutique hospitality settings, this set adds a sophisticated focal point to open-plan living areas. It pairs well with minimalist or transitional interiors where velvet textures provide warmth. Professionals searching for a complete dining solution will find this asset useful for staging projects ranging from luxury apartments to dining areas in modern hotels. The set is particularly suited for visualisations requiring a ready-to-use, stylish dining arrangement that feels curated rather than generic.
