About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max ceiling fan features three aerodynamic natural wood blades and an integrated central light fixture. This ceiling fan displays a sleek, sculptural aesthetic defined by its three curved blades finished in a natural wood grain. The blades connect to a central housing that integrates a circular, downward-facing light source. A slim downrod attaches to a conical ceiling canopy, maintaining a minimalist profile. The wood finish provides a warm, organic contrast to the mechanical nature of the fan, while the streamlined form ensures it remains unobtrusive in a variety of interior settings. The assembly includes the motor housing, blades, central light diffuser, and mounting hardware as depicted.

The download is a 53.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is typically managed through the scene explorer, with the fan blades and light housing organized into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users should verify the pivot points are correctly centered for rotation animations. Materials are applied using standard mapping, allowing for adjustments to the wood grain scale and the light intensity of the central diffuser. Ensure the model is scaled correctly relative to the room height before finalizing the ceiling attachment.

This ceiling fan is suited for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas where both air circulation and ambient lighting are required. It pairs well with mid-century modern or contemporary interior schemes that prioritize natural textures. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of fixture for open-plan apartments, boutique hotel suites, or modern coastal homes.
