About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a live-edge natural wood table with eight wishbone-style chairs and woven seats. This eight-seater dining set comprises a substantial live-edge wood table supported by dark metal framing and eight classic curved-back chairs. The tabletop showcases a prominent natural grain, finished with butterfly joints to stabilise the central split. Each chair is crafted with a steam-bent wooden frame and a woven cord seat, providing a lightweight, ergonomic aesthetic that contrasts with the heavy timber surface. The composition is balanced and organic, highlighting the raw material qualities while maintaining a structured, formal arrangement suitable for a refined interior space.

The download is a 52.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max project, ensure the pivot points for the chairs are positioned at the base for easy rotation and placement around the table. The models are organised by object, allowing for individual adjustment of the chairs or the table assembly. Users should apply high-resolution textures to the wood surfaces to capture the grain detail, while ensuring the lighting setup highlights the subtle texture of the woven seats and the reflective quality of the metal table supports.

Ideal for residential dining rooms or upscale restaurant interiors, this set serves as a strong focal point in open-plan living areas. It pairs well with minimalist or wabi-sabi design schemes, offering a tactile, warm aesthetic. Professionals searching for natural wood furniture, high-end dining configurations, or organic modern decor will find this asset versatile for various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-fidelity interior renders. It creates a welcoming, sophisticated atmosphere in both private homes and boutique commercial hospitality venues.
