About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sideboard features a distinct four-door configuration with a textured, mosaic-style natural wood finish. This low-profile sideboard is defined by its repetitive, square-patterned timber facade, which creates a rich tactile surface across the four doors. The unit sits on a recessed plinth base, giving the piece a grounded, substantial appearance. Its linear, rectangular form provides a clean silhouette that works well in minimalist or contemporary interiors. The natural wood grain variation adds depth and warmth to the design, making it a versatile storage solution for living or dining areas. The interior layout is concealed by the uniform door fronts, maintaining a sleek and uncluttered aesthetic.

The download is a 76.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object with logical grouping for the doors and carcass. Users should check the local pivot point to ensure efficient rotation or opening animations if required for interior visualisations. The texture mapping is set to follow the individual wood blocks, so verify UVW coordinates if scaling the object significantly in the scene. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the subtle relief of the wooden surface, ensuring the shadows define the geometric texture effectively.

This sideboard is ideal for high-end residential projects, particularly within living rooms, dining spaces, or entrance hallways. It pairs effectively with large-scale wall art, minimalist clocks, or decorative greenery to create a balanced focal point. Professionals should search for this piece when specifying storage that requires a natural, organic texture without sacrificing clean, contemporary lines. It functions well as a media console or a general storage unit in modern apartments, luxury homes, or boutique hotel suites where a refined, tactile finish is desired.
