Contemporary Grey Fabric Metal Frame Sofa with Plant Set

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a slim bronze-finish metal frame with grey fabric upholstery and an included potted plant. Defined by a minimalist metal frame with thin vertical spindles along the back and armrests, this three-seater sofa offers a light, airy profile. The seating platform is composed of a deep, neutral grey upholstered cushion base, complemented by a series of scatter cushions in varying tones and patterns. The slender, rectilinear metal structure provides a sturdy base while maintaining a low visual weight. Accompanying the sofa is a single potted plant in a textured grey vessel, set upon a simple timber stand, creating a balanced, curated aesthetic for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 43.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes. The sofa and plant are provided as a single set, but components can be separated by detaching elements in the edit poly modifier to suit specific layout requirements. Apply materials using standard library shaders, ensuring the metallic frame and fabric textures are mapped with appropriate tiling and reflection settings to achieve a realistic finish in the final viewport render.

This sofa set serves as a versatile piece for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed lounge areas in high-end office spaces. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and minimalist area rugs to anchor a seating arrangement. Designers searching for clean-lined furniture with an oriental-inspired structural frame will find this asset useful for creating balanced, uncluttered interiors. It is particularly effective in staged project renders where a touch of greenery is needed to soften the linear geometry of the furniture.
