About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max double bed features a tall vertical slatted wood headboard and a layered textile bedding arrangement. Designed with a clean, linear aesthetic, this double bed features a frame finished in a light natural wood veneer. The defining element is the oversized, floor-to-ceiling headboard composed of vertical timber slats. The mattress is dressed in a neutral, textured base with a warm brown throw and a charcoal-and-white patterned blanket draped over the foot. The pillow configuration includes two large charcoal grey rectangular pillows paired with two smaller, soft blue accent cushions, providing a balanced contrast against the warm wood tones of the bed frame and the integrated headboard panel.

The download is a 35.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge function to bring the asset into your project file. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the bedding from the timber frame. Ensure your scene units are set to match the model scale. Apply high-resolution wood grain textures to the frame using standard mapping techniques, and adjust the fabric shaders to capture the subtle weave of the textiles through appropriate bump and reflection maps.

This bed is suitable for modern residential master suites, guest bedrooms, or high-end hotel room visualisations. Its neutral palette and slatted headboard design make it a versatile choice for contemporary or minimalist interior schemes. Designers often search for this type of asset when composing bedroom scenes that require a focal point with strong verticality and tactile material contrast. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and soft, ambient lighting to complete a cohesive, serene sleeping environment for architectural presentations or interior design projects.
