About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a natural wood three-tier ladder shelf styled with assorted home decor, including greenery and glassware. Constructed from light-toned natural wood, this three-tier ladder shelf unit features a tapered frame with a decorative heart-shaped cutout on the top backrest. Each of the three shelves has a recessed tray-like design to secure items. The set includes a curated collection of accessories: a potted indoor plant trailing over the top shelf, a white-framed picture, wooden carved ornaments, and various glass vessels and jars. The proportions are slender and vertical, making it suitable for compact spaces where display storage is required without the footprint of a full cabinet.

The download is a 36.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, separating the shelving structure from the individual decorative props for ease of asset management. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the shelf for efficient placement against walls or in corners. Materials are applied using standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or glass transparency settings. The components are grouped, facilitating easy scaling or the removal of individual accessories to customise the shelf styling for specific interior visualisations.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this ladder shelf fits well in living rooms, bedrooms, or entrance halls, providing a warm, tactile element. It serves as a practical asset for staging shelf styling or adding lived-in detail to a scene. Professionals searching for farmhouse-style storage, rustic display units, or small-scale decor sets will find this useful for adding character to a rendered space. It pairs effectively with neutral palettes and soft lighting to enhance the natural texture of the wood finish.
