Contemporary Natural Wood Dining Set with Integrated Planter

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for SketchUp features a natural wood rectangular table with an integrated central planter. This dining arrangement consists of a long, rectangular table finished in a light natural wood grain, featuring a unique V-shaped leg base at each end. A distinctive square planter box is embedded into the centre of the tabletop, finished in a contrasting dark material with a stone-like texture. The set includes six wishbone-style dining chairs, constructed from dark-stained timber with woven rope seats. The chairs feature the iconic curved backrest and Y-shaped support, offering a balance of organic form and functional comfort suitable for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 21.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the group as a single component to maintain the relative positioning of the chairs to the table. Users should check the model scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with the project floor plan. Textures are applied to the wood and woven surfaces; these can be adjusted via the materials tray to suit specific lighting conditions or render engine requirements. The component structure allows for easy replacement of individual chairs if needed.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen areas, or modern café and restaurant interiors, this set brings a natural aesthetic to communal spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist or scandinavian interior palettes, providing a focal point in a dining zone. Professionals often search for this type of furniture when designing social hubs or family-oriented living areas. The integrated planter adds a biophilic element, making it a versatile choice for projects that prioritise indoor-outdoor connectivity or require a dedicated greenery feature within the dining area.
