About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a slatted wood table and woven rope chairs with slim white metal frames. This dining ensemble includes a rectangular table with a slatted natural wood top and six matching armchairs. The chairs are constructed with a distinctive woven rope backrest and seat, finished in a light beige tone. Each chair includes a thin seat cushion for added comfort. The supporting structure for both the table and the chairs consists of slender, white-painted metal legs, providing a clean and lightweight aesthetic. The overall design prioritizes a breezy, open feel, making it suitable for both indoor dining areas and covered outdoor terrace environments.

The download is a 19.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the align tool to position the chairs precisely around the table geometry. The model is organised by object type, allowing for individual material assignment to the rope, timber, and metal components. Ensure proper UV mapping if applying custom wood grain textures to the table slats. Scale the entire group to match project dimensions before merging into your master architectural file, and consider using a high-quality HDRI for realistic outdoor lighting reflections.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, covered patios, and boutique hospitality projects, this set fits well in light-filled, airy interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist or coastal-themed decor schemes. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of casual dining furniture when specifying projects that require a blend of natural textures and modern structural lines. It serves as a functional focal point for open-plan living areas, garden rooms, or commercial cafe spaces seeking a refined, relaxed atmosphere.
