About this asset

This contemporary TV cabinet for SketchUp features a natural wood frame and four rattan-panelled doors for a textured, light aesthetic. This low-profile media console is defined by its clean, linear silhouette and organic material contrast. Constructed with a light-toned wooden frame, the unit features four cabinet doors, each inset with fine-weave rattan mesh panels. The design sits on slender, integrated legs, providing a lightweight visual footprint. The internal storage capacity is divided into four equal sections, accessible via the hinged doors. The overall composition is balanced, combining a warm, natural palette with a contemporary structural approach, making it a versatile piece for modern living spaces requiring subtle, tactile storage solutions.

The download is a 2.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised as a clean component, allowing for easy placement and alignment against walls or within custom media wall joinery. Users should check the model axes upon insertion to ensure the cabinet sits flush with the floor plane. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp layering, making it straightforward to swap timber finishes or adjust the transparency of the rattan textures. The model is lightweight, ensuring smooth performance when rendering with integrated or external plugins.

This piece is well-suited for residential living rooms, media dens, and open-plan apartments. It pairs effectively with minimalist, scandinavian, or wabi-sabi interior schemes where natural textures and light tones are preferred. Professionals searching for a media console, low-level storage unit, or living room cabinetry will find this model useful for both conceptual design and final visualisations. It complements a wide range of soft furnishings, including linen sofas, woven rugs, and indoor greenery, creating a cohesive, relaxed atmosphere in any domestic project.
