About this asset

A 3ds Max bar stool featuring a bold, multicolour abstract-patterned fabric upholstery and a minimalist, dark-toned metal frame. This contemporary bar stool presents a distinctive sculptural form, characterised by a continuous, flowing seat and backrest profile. The piece is fully upholstered in a vibrant, multi-toned fabric displaying an intricate, abstract graphic pattern that contrasts sharply with the understated dark metal base. Its compact, ergonomic silhouette is designed for elevated seating, with tapered legs that provide a grounded, stable appearance despite the lightweight visual composition. The integrated backrest offers subtle lumbar support, making the stool suitable for both aesthetic statement-making and functional use in high-end hospitality or residential bar areas.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the frame and upholstery components. Users can adjust the fabric mapping via the UVW map modifier to suit specific scale requirements. The model is provided with standard material definitions, which can be easily swapped for advanced render engine shaders as needed. Ensuring the pivot point is aligned to the base of the stool simplifies placement on floor planes within a larger interior scene.

This stool serves as a high-impact accent piece for luxury kitchens, boutique cocktail bars, and modern lounge environments. It pairs effectively with minimalist stone or metal breakfast bars and high-top tables. Designers searching for statement seating, abstract furniture, or unique bar stools for hospitality fit-outs will find this model useful for adding character to neutral spaces. Its vibrant pattern acts as a focal point, grounding the surrounding decor while maintaining a clean, contemporary profile that suits both open-plan living and commercial reception areas.
