Contemporary Multicolour Mixed Material Hanging Swing Chair Set

This SketchUp model set features four distinct contemporary hanging swing chairs, including metal, wooden, and woven textile designs. This collection comprises four unique suspended seating options designed for diverse interior and exterior applications. The set includes a red metal-framed egg chair with white cushioning, a classic wooden garden swing with an arched lattice backrest, a sleek black spherical pod chair with a patterned interior cushion, and a bohemian-style off-white macramé hanging chair. Each piece is suspended by integrated chains or cords, showcasing varied textures and structural forms. The variety of materials and silhouettes allows for versatile placement in residential sunrooms, covered terraces, or contemporary lounge areas, providing a comprehensive selection of suspended furniture styles.

The download is an 8.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as separate components, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. Users can easily adjust the suspension height by modifying the chain or cord geometry. The materials are applied using standard SketchUp textures, which can be swapped or edited in the materials panel to match specific project colour palettes. When integrating into a larger architectural model, ensure the attachment points are correctly aligned with ceiling joists or structural beams to maintain realistic spatial proportions.
