Contemporary Living Room Furniture Scene

This contemporary living and dining room scene for 3ds Max features a curated collection of furniture including a sofa and dining set. This interior scene comprises a cohesive furniture arrangement for an open-plan living and dining area. The core components include a light-toned fabric sofa with accent cushions, a low-profile glass-topped coffee table, and a sculptural dining table paired with slim-profile chairs. The chairs feature curved backrests with warm-toned upholstery and metal frames, providing a mid-century modern influence. The arrangement is designed to balance soft textile textures with the clean lines of metal and glass, suitable for a refined, modern residential aesthetic. The set is presented as a complete, ready-to-use room composition.

The download is a 33.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this scene into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your master scene and adjust the global lighting to match your interior environment. The objects are grouped logically, allowing for individual selection and repositioning of the sofa, chairs, or tables as needed. Ensure all texture paths are correctly linked in the material editor upon import. The assets are scaled to standard real-world dimensions, making them suitable for immediate placement within architectural floor plans without significant transformation or adjustment.

This furniture collection is ideal for residential interior visualisations, including apartment staging and open-plan home design projects. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary architectural shells, such as those with feature wall panelling or floor-to-ceiling glazing. Professionals can use this set to populate living and dining areas in mid-to-high-end residential developments. The neutral palette ensures versatility across various colour schemes, making it a reliable asset for rapid prototyping of interior layouts during the design development phase of a project.
