Contemporary Live-Edge Wood Dining Set with Eight Chairs

This contemporary eight-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a live-edge wooden table and matching upholstered chairs with metal legs. This dining set comprises a large, rectangular table with a prominent live-edge finish, highlighting the natural grain and irregular, organic profile of the timber slab. The table is supported by slim, black-finished metal legs that provide a stark, minimalist contrast to the warm, natural wood surface. Accompanied by eight matching dining chairs, the set maintains a cohesive aesthetic. Each chair is upholstered in a light beige, neutral fabric with a structured backrest, supported by a wooden frame that complements the primary table material. This balanced combination of organic textures and industrial metal elements defines the set.

The download is a 29.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 9 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, users should treat the table and chairs as a single group for initial placement, then ungroup to adjust individual chair rotations for a more natural, lived-in arrangement. The materials are mapped to standard slots, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain scale or fabric texture tiling. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of the legs to facilitate quick snapping to floor planes and efficient scene management within your architectural project files.
