Contemporary Tan Leather Lounge Chair with Light Wood Frame

This contemporary SketchUp lounge chair features rich tan leather upholstery paired with a sculpted, light-toned wood frame. This lounge chair exhibits a low-profile silhouette with a distinct separation between the seat and the backrest. The upholstery is finished in a warm tan leather, applied to a generously padded, rounded seat cushion and a slim, slightly curved backrest. These components are supported by a light-toned wood structure that highlights a visible grain, with legs that taper outwards to provide stability. The design emphasises clean lines and organic curves, balancing the soft, tactile quality of the leather with the solid, structured appearance of the timber frame, resulting in a balanced, modern aesthetic.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model, use the component browser to import the file into your active scene. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain project organisation. The textures are pre-applied, but you may need to adjust the material UV mapping or re-link the leather and wood bitmaps if the file path is broken. Scaling should be verified against your project’s floor plan before finalising the placement, particularly when grouping with other furniture items to ensure consistent ergonomic proportions.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern executive office breakout areas. It pairs effectively with side tables or as a pair in a conversation grouping. Search for this piece when specifying accent seating for contemporary interior design schemes that require a blend of comfort and structural elegance. It functions effectively in both 3D visualisations and as a representative placeholder in interior planning layouts where a refined, mid-century inspired aesthetic is requested by the client.
