About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a light blue fabric wingback design with button-tufted detailing and tapered wooden legs. Defined by its high, enveloping wingback profile, this armchair provides a structured yet comfortable silhouette. The backrest is finished with vertical rows of button tufting, adding a classic tactile element to the modern aesthetic. It features integrated armrests with subtle wooden accents at the terminals, flowing into a deep, upholstered seat cushion. The chair is supported by four tapered, natural-wood legs that provide a light, grounded stance. The light blue upholstery maintains a clean, neutral appearance, making it suitable for various interior palettes without overwhelming the surrounding space.

The download is a 1.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on a flat plane to maintain correct contact between the legs and the floor surface. Users should verify the scale against standard ergonomic heights to ensure proper fit within a living space. Materials are mapped for standard lighting setups; consider adjusting the fabric's reflection and bump maps to suit the specific intensity of your interior environment, particularly if using global illumination or secondary bounce light settings.

This piece is an ideal addition to reading nooks, formal living rooms, or boutique hotel lobbies where a touch of refined comfort is required. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or floor lamps, serving as a focal point in a quiet corner. Designers looking for a sophisticated accent chair often search for wingback seating, tufted lounge chairs, or contemporary upholstered armchairs to complete a residential scheme or a high-end commercial lounge project that requires both style and functional support.
