Contemporary Grey Velvet Tufted 3-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 3-seater sofa 3ds Max model features a full-body tufted velvet upholstery and a deep grey finish with accent cushions. Defined by its classic Chesterfield-inspired silhouette, this 3-seater sofa features deep button tufting across the backrest, arms, and seat base. The piece is upholstered in a soft grey velvet, providing a tactile, light-reflective surface. The rolled arms and low-profile frame maintain a compact footprint, while the integrated seat cushions ensure a streamlined aesthetic. Included in the assembly are four decorative throw cushions in contrasting tones of red, blue, and mustard yellow, adding a layer of visual depth to the overall composition. The proportions remain consistent with standard residential lounge furniture requirements.

The download is a 41.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical geometry, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot points upon insertion to ensure proper alignment with floor planes. The velvet material uses standard mapping, which can be adjusted via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions or render setups. Layers are organised to separate the main frame from the accessory cushions, facilitating easy toggling for different interior configurations or camera views during the final rendering process.
