About this asset

This contemporary grey velvet sectional sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a chaise configuration with varied accent cushions. This contemporary sectional sofa features a low-profile, clean-lined silhouette upholstered in a soft, grey velvet fabric. The design includes a integrated chaise lounge on one side, providing an elongated seating area. The frame is robust with wide armrests, while the seat and back cushions maintain a structured yet comfortable appearance. Included are three decorative scatter cushions: one in a solid grey velvet, one in a black-and-white houndstooth pattern, and one in a textured beige fabric. A small, circular side table with a black top and a metallic base is positioned at the end.

The download is a 14.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the file into your master project. Ensure the unit scale is set correctly to match your interior environment. The velvet material is assigned via standard texture slots, allowing for adjustments to reflection and glossiness parameters. The cushions are separate elements, facilitating easy repositioning or removal to suit specific composition needs. Lighting should be balanced to highlight the soft, light-absorbing qualities of the velvet upholstery and the subtle metallic reflections.
