Contemporary Grey Velvet Living Room Lounge Set

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge set features a large velvet sofa, four matching armchairs, nested coffee tables, and a patterned area rug. Comprising a high-back sofa and four coordinating armchairs, this lounge set is defined by its deep grey velvet upholstery and structured, formal silhouettes. The sofa features a tufted side detail and a generous array of scatter cushions in varying shades of grey. Central to the arrangement is a nested coffee table pair with contrasting marble tops and dark timber bases. The entire composition is grounded by a large, dark grey area rug featuring sweeping, light-toned organic line patterns, creating a cohesive and sophisticated focal point for a formal living space.

The download is a 66.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 8 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this set in 3ds Max by merging the file into your active scene, ensuring that the pivot points are correctly aligned for floor placement. The models are organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment of the velvet and marble surfaces. Scaling should be verified against your project units to ensure accurate proportions. Use the included rug as a base plane for your furniture arrangement, adjusting the lighting setup to highlight the texture of the velvet upholstery.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this set provides a complete, ready-to-render layout for interior design projects. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary architectural interiors that require a formal seating arrangement. Professionals searching for luxury lounge furniture, curated living room sets, or modern grey upholstery will find this collection versatile for both concept design and final photorealistic visualisation stages. The pieces can also be separated to suit smaller configurations if required.
