Contemporary Grey Velvet Armchair with Brass Side Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a grey velvet armchair with a patterned cushion and a sculptural gold metal side table. This furniture set comprises a compact, high-backed armchair and a geometric side table. The armchair features deep grey velvet upholstery on the seat and inner back, contrasted by a textured, lighter-toned fabric on the outer shell. It is supported by dark, tapered wooden legs. A decorative throw cushion with a repeating linear pattern completes the seat. The accompanying side table is crafted from polished brass-toned metal, displaying a distinctive faceted or sliced cylindrical form that catches light across its curved surfaces, creating a strong visual contrast against the soft textile textures of the chair.

The download is a 20.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of each object for easy placement. The materials are likely assigned via multi-sub object IDs; check the material editor to adjust reflection glossiness or anisotropy on the brass surface to suit your scene lighting. If using a specific render engine, verify that the texture maps for the chair fabric and cushion are correctly linked in the material paths to ensure accurate rendering of the velvet pile.

This set is ideal for high-end residential interiors, such as a modern lounge, reading nook, or a master bedroom suite. It also functions well in hospitality projects, including hotel lobbies or boutique lounge areas where a sophisticated, intimate seating arrangement is required. Architects and interior designers might search for this when specifying accent furniture that balances soft, tactile comfort with hard, metallic detailing. It pairs effectively with minimalist floor lamps or as a standalone focal point in a contemporary open-plan living space.
