Contemporary Grey Upholstered Double Bed with Channel-Tufted Headboard

This contemporary 3ds Max double bed features a tall, channel-tufted headboard upholstered in a neutral off-white fabric finish. The bed frame is fully upholstered in a dark grey fabric, providing a clean, minimalist silhouette that rests on low-profile black feet. Its standout feature is the tall headboard, which is divided into vertical channels for a structured, tactile appearance. The set includes a layered bedding ensemble consisting of a crisp white duvet, a pale sage green throw, and a collection of decorative cushions in varying patterns and scales. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for compact master suites or guest rooms where a soft, inviting aesthetic is required for the overall interior scheme.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy separation of the frame, mattress, and individual bedding elements. Users should check the pivot point upon insertion to ensure it aligns with the floor plane. The fabric textures are mapped with standard coordinates, which can be easily adjusted or replaced to match specific project colour palettes. Lighting this asset works best with a soft area light or HDRI to highlight the depth within the vertical tufting of the headboard.

This double bed is ideal for residential bedroom projects, boutique hotel suites, and high-end apartment staging. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and ambient wall sconces to create a serene, cohesive sleeping environment. Professionals searching for a versatile, contemporary bed design will find this asset fits seamlessly into both neutral and bold interior concepts. It is particularly useful for designers looking to populate 3D visualisations with high-quality, pre-styled bedding that brings realism to a room without requiring manual cloth simulation or complex modelling.
