Contemporary Grey Timber and Metal Wall Storage Unit

This contemporary 3ds Max wall storage unit features a modular design with timber shelving, black metal dividers, and closed cabinets. This modular wall storage unit combines open shelving with enclosed cabinet sections to create a balanced aesthetic. The structure is defined by thin, vertical black metal dividers that support horizontal timber shelves, providing a rhythmic, industrial-inspired framework. A solid section on the right integrates closed storage with textured grey door panels, concealing items while offering a clean, minimalist profile. The open shelving includes decorative objects such as vases, books, and sculptural elements, adding layers of visual interest. Its proportions are designed for large-scale wall applications, making it a functional yet decorative focal point for interior spaces.

The download is a 42.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the shelving, cabinetry, and decorative assets. Users should place the unit against a wall plane, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned with the back face for seamless integration. Materials are set up for standard rendering workflows, utilizing texture maps for the wood grain and metal finishes. When populating a scene, consider adjusting the individual book and decor objects to better suit specific interior styling requirements or lighting conditions.
