About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey oak wood hallway storage unit with integrated coat hanging and a concrete planter. This multifunctional storage unit is constructed from a textured grey oak timber, providing a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The assembly includes a vertical open-sided coat hanging section with an upholstered bench, a central bank of closed cabinetry for concealed storage, and an open display niche. A prominent feature is the integrated concrete planter box at the far right, which includes a warm downlight recessed into the top panel. The combination of warm timber tones and cool concrete elements creates a balanced, sophisticated piece suitable for modern entryways or circulation spaces.

The download is a 63.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of individual components. Users should ensure all textures are correctly mapped upon import to maintain the wood grain orientation. The unit can be scaled to fit specific wall lengths, though care should be taken to preserve the proportions of the cabinetry doors and the planter section. Standard layering practices should be applied to manage the inclusion of decorative accessories like the potted plants and personal items provided in the file.

Ideal for residential projects, this storage unit serves as a functional focal point in entryways, mudrooms, or expansive hallway transitions. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes, offering a comprehensive solution for managing coats, shoes, and decorative elements. Architects and interior designers might search for this asset when specifying custom joinery, entryway furniture, or integrated storage solutions for high-end residential developments. Its versatile design also suits boutique commercial lobbies or professional reception areas seeking a welcoming, organised aesthetic.
