Ceiling-Mounted Projector with Retractable Screen Set

This 3ds Max model features a ceiling-mounted projector with a motorized scissor-lift mechanism and a retractable projection screen. The assembly comprises two distinct technical components designed for integrated AV installations. The primary unit is a ceiling-recessed projector mount, which employs a metal scissor-linkage mechanism to lower the projector from a concealed housing. The projector itself features a modern, compact chassis with a prominent lens assembly. Accompanying this is a wall or ceiling-mounted retractable screen, finished in a matte black casing. Both elements are engineered for professional media environments, showcasing precise mechanical detailing and clean, minimalist lines that facilitate seamless integration into contemporary interior ceiling voids or bulkhead designs.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is typically managed as a grouped assembly or individual components to allow for precise placement within ceiling cavities. Users should align the projection screen casing with the room's wall or ceiling plane, ensuring the scissor-lift mechanism is positioned correctly relative to the desired throw distance. Materials are standard, allowing for easy adjustment of the screen surface reflectance or projector body finish using standard material editors to match the specific project's lighting and rendering requirements.
