Contemporary Grey Marble Reception Desk with Integrated Planter

This contemporary SketchUp model features a linear grey marble reception desk with a recessed black detail and an integrated planter. The reception desk exhibits a heavy, monolithic aesthetic constructed from grey marble veneer. Its design features a primary rectangular counter block accented by a horizontal black recessed channel, providing a sharp contrast to the natural stone grain. To the right, the counter extends over an integrated, textured stone planter base, creating a balanced, asymmetric profile. The base is finished with a thin black plinth, grounding the structure visually. Included in the model are two desktop computer monitors and a decorative flowering branch arrangement, which serve to provide scale and context for professional interior visualisations.

The download is a 16 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model functions as a single component block, allowing for easy placement into lobby or reception scenes. Users should verify the scale against the included computer monitors to ensure it fits the project floor plate. The marble texture is mapped to the main surfaces, and the black metallic accents are separated into distinct layers for easy material overrides. For high-quality renders, ensure the face normals are oriented correctly before applying light-reflecting materials or custom textures in external software.
