About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey marble platform double bed with an upholstered headboard and integrated decor set. Defined by a low-profile aesthetic, this double bed centres on a wide, rectangular platform base finished in a cool grey marble with prominent white veining. The headboard is upholstered in a dark grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the stone base. It comes fully dressed with a layered bedding set, including textured grey duvets, assorted accent pillows in varying shades of grey and white, and a draped throw. A potted fiddle-leaf fig plant sits on the extended marble platform, completing the composition. The design prioritises clean, horizontal lines and a monochromatic palette.

The download is a 65.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the bedding, the marble platform, and the plant accessory. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the platform for accurate snapping to floor planes. Materials are assigned with clear slotting, facilitating quick adjustments to fabric shaders or stone textures. Given the high-density nature of the bedding geometry, it is recommended to use instances for scene population to maintain viewport performance during the layout phase.

This platform bed is well-suited for high-end residential master suites, luxury hotel guest rooms, or minimalist apartment interior visualisations. It pairs effectively with stone-clad wall panels, recessed lighting, and neutral, textured rugs. Professionals searching for modern bedroom assets, stone furniture, or platform bed configurations will find this asset versatile for both photorealistic renders and conceptual design presentations. It serves as a strong focal point in contemporary bedroom scenes, particularly where a blend of soft textiles and hard, natural surfaces is required.
