Contemporary Grey Marble Curved Reception Desk

This contemporary grey marble curved reception desk for SketchUp features an integrated workstation with built-in storage and cable management. This large, curved reception desk is finished in a grey marble veneer throughout the countertop and base. The design features a sweeping, elliptical footprint, creating a generous front-facing surface for visitors while concealing the internal workspace. The rear of the unit includes a recessed desktop with integrated computer stations, drawers, and an open central compartment for a printer or CPU tower. The entire structure is unified by the consistent marble finish, providing a monolithic, high-end appearance suitable for professional environments. The model includes desktop monitors and a small floral arrangement as decorative accessories.

The download is a 69.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation of the desk and its accessories. Users should map the marble textures to ensure proper grain alignment across the curved surfaces. The file is structured to allow for easy placement within a floor plan, with the desk components occupying their own layers. When integrating into a larger interior scene, consider using the native material editor to adjust the reflectivity of the stone surfaces to suit your project's specific lighting conditions.
