About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular grey marble table paired with six upholstered dining chairs. The dining set comprises a rectangular table with a polished grey marble top featuring prominent white veining, supported by a sculptural bronze-toned metal base with vertical architectural struts. Accompanying the table are six dining chairs with a curved, semi-enclosed silhouette. The chairs are upholstered in a textured, light grey fabric, providing a soft contrast to the hard surfaces of the table. The set is presented as a cohesive arrangement, including a decorative vase as a central accessory, creating a balanced and formal dining configuration suitable for high-end interior design schemes.

The download is a 9.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups for the table and individual chairs, allowing for easy placement and repositioning within a scene. Users should verify that the pivot points are set to the base for efficient alignment with floor planes. The materials are mapped with standard coordinates; apply high-resolution reflection maps to the marble surface to achieve realistic light interaction. Ensure the scene lighting accounts for the metal finish on the table base to maintain accurate material highlights.

This dining set is ideal for luxury residential dining rooms, hotel suites, or upscale restaurant interiors. Its balanced proportions make it a versatile choice for contemporary and transitional design projects. Professionals can use this set to populate floor plans or create high-quality interior visualisations where a formal, elegant focal point is required. It pairs well with minimalist pendant lighting or large-scale area rugs, enhancing the sophistication of the space.
