Contemporary Grey Leather L-Shaped Sectional Sofa – Variant 3

This contemporary 3ds Max sectional sofa features grey leather upholstery and slender metal legs, defined by its L-shaped layout. Defined by clean lines and a low-profile silhouette, this L-shaped sectional sofa features a chaise lounge on the left-hand side. The piece is upholstered in a smooth, dark grey leather with visible stitching detail on the cushions and frame. It sits on a set of slim, tapered metal legs that provide a light, elevated aesthetic. The backrests and seat cushions appear soft and slightly relaxed, contrasting with the structured base. A single decorative throw cushion with a geometric monochrome pattern is included, providing a subtle visual accent against the neutral leather finish.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for efficient scene management. The leather textures are mapped to ensure realistic highlights, while the geometry is clean and suitable for high-quality architectural visualisations. Users should check the pivot point placement upon merging to ensure the sofa sits flush with the floor plane. The metal leg material can be adjusted via the material editor to match specific project lighting requirements or to modify the finish from brushed to polished metal.

Ideal for modern residential living rooms and open-plan apartment layouts, this sofa serves as a primary seating element in contemporary interior design schemes. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables and textured area rugs to create a balanced lounge zone. Professionals searching for lounge furniture for high-end residential projects or hotel lobby seating will find this piece versatile. Its neutral grey palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into various colour schemes, from monochromatic minimalist spaces to more vibrant, eclectic interior environments.
