Contemporary Grey Leather Chesterfield-Style Sofa Set

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a grey leather Chesterfield-style three-seater sofa and two matching armchairs. This three-piece seating arrangement showcases a refined take on the classic Chesterfield silhouette, updated with contemporary proportions and sleek detailing. Each piece features deep button-tufted upholstery finished in a dark grey leather, providing a tactile, sophisticated aesthetic. The rolled arms and low-profile backrests maintain the traditional profile, while a subtle metallic trim at the base adds a modern edge. The set includes a single three-seater sofa and two individual matching armchairs, all grounded by a unified design language that balances historical elegance with clean, modern lines suitable for high-end residential interiors.

The download is a 20 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can integrate this 3ds Max model by importing the file into an existing scene, where the components are typically organised by layer for easy material management. The leather textures are mapped to standard geometry, allowing for adjustments in reflection and bump intensity to suit specific lighting conditions. Best practice involves ensuring the pivot points are correctly set at the base of each piece, facilitating placement on floor planes, and applying high-quality HDRI environments to accurately capture the subtle sheen of the leather surfaces.
