Contemporary Grey Glass Gold Metal Rectangular Dining Table

This contemporary 3ds Max dining table features a rectangular smoky glass top supported by two sculptural gold-finished metal bases. Defined by its striking contrast of materials, this dining table pairs a sleek, rectangular top of tempered smoky grey glass with a pair of substantial, undulating metal pedestals finished in a brushed gold tone. The base design features a soft, wave-like profile that provides a sense of organic movement against the clean, sharp geometry of the tabletop. The table is presented here as a set including decorative tabletop accessories such as a floral arrangement and candle holders. Its proportions are generous, intended for a formal dining setting where material quality and sculptural form take center stage.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with distinct material IDs for the glass and metal components, allowing for independent adjustment of reflection, refraction, and metallic finish parameters. The base and top are typically grouped for easy placement within a scene. Users should verify the scale against their project floor plan, ensuring the origin point is set to the floor level for accurate snapping. The smoky glass material requires an appropriate environment map or HDRI to achieve realistic light transmission and surface reflections.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury hotel suites, or boutique restaurant interiors, this piece serves as a sophisticated focal point. It pairs well with minimalist or velvet-upholstered dining chairs to balance the metallic weight of the pedestals. Professionals searching for a luxury dining table, sculptural furniture, or a statement piece for a modern open-plan living space will find this model suitable for both architectural visualisation and interior design projects requiring a refined, high-contrast aesthetic.
