About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric upholstered bench on a natural wood frame, styled with a book and textiles. This contemporary bench features a clean-lined, minimalist aesthetic defined by its light-toned natural wood frame and soft, grey fabric-upholstered seat. The structure consists of a solid timber base with tapered legs and subtle curved joinery where the legs meet the seat frame. The upholstery is segmented into two distinct rectangular sections, creating a structured look. Included in the set are decorative accessories: a closed book topped with a ceramic coffee cup and saucer, and a folded piece of fabric or textile draped over one end of the bench.

The download is an 11.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material editing. The upholstery and timber components are separated, allowing for quick adjustments to material maps or texture tiling. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the floor base for accurate placement within a scene. The included accessories are grouped as separate objects, enabling them to be toggled off or repositioned independently to suit specific interior compositions and camera angles.

This versatile bench is well-suited for high-end residential projects, particularly for placement at the foot of a bed in a master suite or as a refined seating element in a spacious entryway. It pairs effectively with modern minimalist interiors, neutral palettes, and natural material schemes. Designers might search for this piece when looking for bedroom furniture, accent seating, or decorative staging assets to add warmth and a lived-in quality to a architectural visualisation. It works seamlessly in both contemporary and scandinavian-inspired design concepts.
