About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric upholstered double bed with an integrated wingback headboard and soft bedding. Defined by its structured wingback headboard, this double bed offers a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for modern bedroom interiors. The frame is fully upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, extending to the side rails and footboard. The composition includes a comprehensive set of soft furnishings: two primary rectangular pillows, two smaller dark grey accent pillows, a central white bolster cushion, and a textured grey throw blanket draped over the foot. The base is finished with a low-profile plinth, maintaining a grounded silhouette that balances comfort with formal, geometric precision.

The download is a 12.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this model in 3ds Max by merging the file into your master scene to maintain existing object hierarchies. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the mattress, frame, and individual textile elements. Users should check the material editor for the fabric shaders, which are mapped with standard textures. For optimal results in interior renders, adjust the fabric tiling and bump maps to suit your specific lighting environment and camera exposure settings.

This bed is ideal for residential master suites, guest rooms, or luxury hotel projects where a soft, upholstered focal point is required. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and ambient floor lamps to create a tranquil sleeping environment. Designers often search for this type of asset when visualising contemporary apartment interiors or high-end hospitality suites. It is effective for both close-up product renders and wide-angle architectural shots, providing a realistic, lived-in appearance through its included decorative cushions and bedding.
