Contemporary Grey Fabric Upholstered Double Bed – Variant 15

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric upholstered double bed with an integrated headboard and detailed bedding set. This double bed features a cohesive, fully upholstered frame and a wide, slightly curved headboard that wraps around the sleeping area. The design is finished in a neutral grey fabric, providing a soft, tactile aesthetic. The included bedding assembly consists of a striped duvet, two main pillows, two smaller accent pillows, and a textured black throw blanket draped across the foot. The proportions are balanced, with the headboard height providing a solid visual anchor. All elements are modelled as a single unit, ensuring consistent scale and material application across the frame and textiles.

The download is a 22.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a cohesive asset where the bedding and frame are grouped for efficient manipulation. Users should verify the pivot point at the base for accurate placement on floor planes. Texture maps are applied to the fabric surfaces, allowing for customisation of the grey tones or fabric types via the material editor. The geometry is clean and suitable for architectural visualisation, requiring standard lighting setups to highlight the soft folds and textures of the bedding components.

Ideal for residential master bedrooms or high-end hotel suites, this bed serves as a primary focal point in interior design projects. It complements minimalist and contemporary bedroom schemes, pairing well with bedside tables and wall-mounted sconces. Professionals often search for this asset when populating floor plans or creating photorealistic renders for real estate marketing. Its neutral colour palette allows for easy integration into various room styles, from monochrome interiors to spaces requiring a soft, textured contrast against timber or stone flooring.
