About this asset

This contemporary double bed for SketchUp features a sleek, fully upholstered frame and two distinct, plush headboard sections. Designed with a clean, low-profile aesthetic, this double bed offers a soft, tactile presence through its neutral grey fabric upholstery. The frame is fully enveloped in the textile, creating a monolithic and seamless appearance. A notable feature is the dual-cushion headboard, which provides both visual interest and comfort through its slightly padded, geometric form. The bedding includes smooth, satin-finish sheets and a textured, woven throw blanket draped across the foot, adding depth to the overall composition. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile choice for modern interior schemes requiring a soft, inviting focal point.

The download is a 29.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, place the component directly into your bedroom scene using the native move and rotate tools to align it with your floor plan. The model is organised with logical geometry, allowing for easy material overrides if you wish to customise the fabric texture or colour. Ensure the bed is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to maintain scene organisation, and use standard scaling if minor adjustments are needed to fit specific room dimensions or architectural constraints.

This model is ideal for residential master suites, guest bedrooms, and hospitality design projects such as boutique hotel rooms. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables, soft ambient lighting, and neutral wall palettes.
