Contemporary Grey Fabric Timber Frame 2-Seater Sofa

This contemporary 2-seater sofa, modelled in SketchUp, features a light natural wood frame and grey fabric upholstery with patterned cushions. Defined by a clean-lined timber frame, this 2-seater sofa offers a balanced, architectural aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The structural base is crafted from light-toned natural wood, showcasing a simple, open-frame design that supports deep, upholstered seat cushions in a neutral grey fabric. Four included scatter cushions provide visual interest, alternating between a subtle geometric print and a bold botanical palm-leaf pattern. The overall proportions are low and wide, emphasizing comfort through a minimalist silhouette that highlights the material contrast between the warmth of the timber and the soft, textured grey textile.

The download is a 4.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured for efficient scene integration, with geometry grouped to allow for easy material replacement or texture scaling. Users should check the component axes upon insertion to ensure proper snapping to floor planes. The fabric and wood textures are mapped to standard UV coordinates, facilitating quick adjustments in material editors if a different finish or fabric colour is required for specific interior design visualisations. Keep the geometry on a dedicated tag to manage model complexity effectively within larger architectural projects.
