About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a grey fabric three-seater sofa paired with a minimalist arched floor lamp. The sofa presents a clean-lined, contemporary profile with deep seating and a low backrest. It is upholstered in a textured grey fabric and includes several cream-coloured throw cushions to provide contrast and comfort. The frame appears structured with block-style armrests. Accompanying the seating is a slender, arched floor lamp featuring a simple drum shade in a matching grey tone. This set provides a balanced composition for seating areas, combining a substantial upholstered piece with a delicate lighting element that curves gracefully over the sofa frame, creating a cohesive visual unit.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a grouped set, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. Users can easily adjust the material parameters for the fabric texture or the metallic finish of the floor lamp stand using the standard material editor. The model is scaled for architectural accuracy, making it simple to position against walls or within an open-plan layout. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment map to achieve realistic lighting interactions on the fabric surfaces and the lamp shade.

This sofa and lamp combination is well-suited for residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, and hotel lobby lounge areas. It works effectively in projects focusing on clean, contemporary aesthetics or minimalist interior design schemes. Professionals searching for comfortable, neutral-toned seating solutions will find this asset useful for staging high-end residential renders. It pairs well with area rugs, coffee tables, and side tables to complete a functional seating group in both architectural visualisations and interior design presentations for clients requiring a balanced, ready-to-use furniture arrangement.
