About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a grey fabric sectional sofa with a chaise, complete with wall panelling and accessories. The primary focus is a low-profile sectional sofa upholstered in a textured grey fabric, featuring a right-hand chaise configuration. The set includes a matching ottoman on a metal swivel base, a circular side table with a dark top and curved metal frame, and a decorative throw blanket. The composition is anchored by a backdrop of vertical wood and dark grey wall panels. Additional elements include two wall-mounted sconces, a tiered pendant light, a potted indoor plant in a white planter, and a rectangular rug with linear border detailing, creating a fully styled lounge vignette.

The download is a 44.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility of the complex wall panels and lighting components. The geometry is grouped for easy manipulation, allowing users to move or rotate the assembly as a whole. Materials are applied as standard textures; check the scale of the fabric mapping within the paint bucket tool to maintain realism. For lighting, the pendant and sconces can be easily swapped with dynamic components or linked to render engine light definitions.

This sectional sofa scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, specifically for staging living room concepts or high-end apartment renders. It works well in hospitality lobbies or executive lounge areas where a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic is required. Architects and visualisers can use this asset to quickly populate floor plans with a complete, coordinated furniture set.
