About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model set features a grey fabric sectional sofa and a matching 3-seater, both defined by slim metal legs. This seating collection comprises a modular L-shaped sectional with a chaise and a separate 3-seater sofa. Both pieces feature clean, modern lines with deep cushions and rounded armrests. The upholstery is a neutral grey textile, accented by a variety of scatter cushions in complementary shades of white and darker grey. Each piece is elevated on slender, dark-finished metal legs, providing a lightweight aesthetic despite the generous scale of the frames. The design balances comfort with a refined silhouette, suitable for various interior schemes requiring high-quality, understated furniture assets.

The download is a 28.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into logical groups for ease of manipulation and placement within architectural scenes. Users should check the component axes to ensure correct snapping during floor plan layout. The materials are applied as standard textures, allowing for quick adjustments to colour or fabric pattern via the material editor. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity and improve viewport performance when rendering with third-party plugins.

These sofas are ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office breakout areas. They provide a versatile solution for open-plan living rooms where a cohesive seating arrangement is required. Designers often pair these pieces with low-profile coffee tables and textured area rugs to define lounge zones.
