About this asset

This contemporary lounge set for 3ds Max features a three-seater sofa and two matching rattan-back armchairs with a coffee table. This coordinated lounge set consists of a three-seater sofa, two matching armchairs, and a rectangular coffee table, all arranged on a decorative rug. The seating pieces feature grey fabric upholstery, contrasted by dark-stained rattan backrests and wooden frames. The sofa includes integrated side tables at each end, providing a functional aesthetic. The coffee table sits on turned legs with a secondary lower shelf, finished in a dark tone to match the seating frames. Decorative cushions in terracotta and patterned grey fabric are included, adding texture and colour to the neutral seating foundation.

The download is a 230 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this set is best managed by grouping the individual components to maintain hierarchy within the scene. Users should check the material IDs and texture maps upon import to ensure proper rendering of the rattan weave and fabric finishes. The model is scaled for standard residential interiors, allowing for quick placement in floor plans. Adjusting the lighting setup, particularly with an HDRI environment, will help highlight the contrast between the dark wooden frames and the soft grey upholstery.

This lounge set is suitable for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or sophisticated lounge areas in commercial projects. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary interiors that require a touch of natural texture through the rattan elements. Designers often search for these coordinated sets when creating complete room visualisations for client presentations. The neutral palette ensures versatility, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into various interior styles, from modern urban apartments to refined, relaxed holiday villas, providing a cohesive and inviting seating arrangement.
