Wood Traditional Red and Gold Decorative Column Set

This collection of twenty traditional columns for SketchUp features ornate red and gold finishes with intricate dragon motifs. This set comprises twenty distinct architectural columns, each reflecting traditional design motifs. The collection primarily features cylindrical shafts finished in vibrant red, accented by gold detailing, metallic bands, and stone-textured bases. Several variations include elaborate relief carvings, such as coiled golden dragons, ornate capitals, and fluted shafts. The proportions vary across the set, ranging from simple, minimalist pillars to highly decorative elements suitable for focal points. Every model is constructed with distinct base and capital styles, providing a comprehensive library of vertical structural supports for heritage-inspired interior and exterior design schemes.

The download is a 88.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 20 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can efficiently integrate these columns into SketchUp projects by importing the file and selecting the desired pillar from the component browser. Due to their nature as architectural elements, these assets are best managed by placing them on a dedicated layer or tag, allowing for easy visibility toggling. Scaling should be performed uniformly to maintain the integrity of the ornate capitals and dragon reliefs. Applying high-resolution textures to the gold and red surfaces will enhance the realism during final render output.
