About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a modular grey fabric design paired with an integrated marble-topped side table. This low-profile modular sofa system emphasizes a relaxed, deep-seated aesthetic with tufted upholstery detailing on the main cushions. The set consists of multiple sectional units finished in a light grey fabric, accented by soft sage-green throw pillows and a draped knit throw blanket. A distinct feature is the attached side table at the end of the configuration, which incorporates a marble surface and a slim, adjustable task lamp. The overall silhouette is clean and rectilinear, designed to provide a structured yet comfortable seating arrangement for modern open-plan living spaces.

The download is a 46.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for the upholstery, frame, and accessories. Users should import the file as a single group, then ungroup to adjust individual modules or swap the side table placement as required by the floor plan. Materials are mapped with standard texture paths, allowing for easy adjustment of the fabric scale or marble veining. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the base of each module for efficient snapping to walls or floor planes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, high-end hospitality lounges, and lobby areas, this modular sofa provides a versatile solution for large seating layouts. Its integrated side table eliminates the need for additional furniture, making it useful for space-constrained interiors where a cohesive, minimalist look is desired. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of sectional for contemporary apartments or luxury hotel suites.
