About this asset

A contemporary living room scene in 3ds Max featuring a grey fabric modular sofa, matching armchair, wooden coffee table, and decor. This comprehensive living room set comprises a low-profile, modular sectional sofa upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, paired with a dark brown wooden armchair featuring a mid-century inspired silhouette. The central focal point is a round, solid timber coffee table, complemented by two knitted poufs and an intricate, textured white rug. Lighting is provided by a group of vertical floor lamps with a soft, diffused glow. The arrangement is finished with decorative accents, including a vase with dried botanicals, providing a balanced, ready-to-use composition for high-end residential or boutique hospitality interior visualisations.

The download is a 80.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised for efficient integration into larger project files. Use the merge command to import the furniture group, ensuring all textures are correctly mapped by maintaining the relative file paths. The modular components are grouped to allow for easy repositioning or scaling within your floor plan. Adjust the light intensity of the lamps in the scene to suit your specific daylight or evening render settings, and utilise the existing material definitions as a base for customisation.

This furniture arrangement is ideal for residential living room scenes, apartment show-flats, and hotel lobby lounges. It suits projects requiring a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic where comfort and texture are prioritised. Designers can use this set to quickly populate open-plan living areas or create inviting reading nooks. It works well when paired with minimalist wall treatments, large-format glazing, or warm timber flooring.
