Contemporary Grey Fabric Lounge Chair with Brass Base

This contemporary grey fabric lounge chair for 3ds Max features elegant ribbed exterior detailing and a sleek, gold-finish metal base. This lounge chair exhibits a refined contemporary aesthetic, defined by its fully upholstered seat and backrest. The exterior of the shell is finished with vertical channel tufting, creating a subtle, rhythmic texture that contrasts with the smooth, integrated seat cushion. It is supported by a slender, four-point metallic base with a polished gold finish, which provides a light, elevated profile. The overall form is compact yet comfortable, making it suitable for focused seating areas. The model includes a draped, houndstooth-patterned throw blanket, which adds a layer of visual interest and casual texture to the seat.

The download is a 20.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the geometry is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. The metallic base material should be checked for proper reflection settings to interact correctly with scene lighting. If using a custom renderer, consider re-assigning the fabric textures to match your project's specific material library. The chair is scaled to standard lounge dimensions, allowing for quick insertion into interior scenes without needing significant size adjustments in the viewport.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or executive office waiting areas where a touch of luxury is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as a standalone accent chair in a corner reading nook. Professionals searching for a sophisticated, modern seating option will find this model useful for high-end interior visualizations. It works effectively in both bright, airy spaces and moodier, darker interior schemes, providing a versatile option for diverse design narratives and project styles.
