About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sofa is a SketchUp model featuring a grey fabric upholstery, chaise section, and slender metal legs. This contemporary sectional sofa features a clean-lined L-shaped configuration with an integrated chaise lounge. The frame is supported by slim, black-finished metal legs that provide a lightweight aesthetic. Upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, the piece includes a selection of coordinating scatter cushions in muted tones. The set is accompanied by a low-profile, black-finished coffee table with a geometric wire-frame base and a high-pile white rug. The overall design prioritises comfort and minimalist elegance, making it suitable for modern living spaces where a balance of texture and sleek form is desired.

The download is a 50.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into a project, import the file into your active scene and place the assembly using the corner of the chaise or the sofa back as a pivot point. The components are typically grouped by object type, allowing for easy selection and material swapping within the native editor. Ensure the rug is placed at the correct z-axis elevation to avoid clipping with floor geometry, and apply light-bouncing materials to the fabric textures to achieve a realistic finish in your final renders.

Ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lounge areas, or open-plan apartment layouts, this sofa set provides a complete seating arrangement for interior design visualisations. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, neutral colour palettes, and contemporary lighting fixtures. Professionals searching for a versatile sectional sofa, modern lounge furniture, or a complete living room seating set will find this model useful for early-stage concept development or final high-quality presentation renders. Its neutral aesthetic ensures compatibility with a wide range of interior styles and architectural settings.
