About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric L-shaped sofa living room scene for SketchUp features a modular sectional, coffee table, rug, and lamp. This living room scene features a low-profile, L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a light grey fabric, paired with a single lime-green cushion for contrast. The configuration includes a dedicated chaise section. Accompanying the sofa is a circular coffee table with a warm-toned wooden top and a simple metal pedestal base. A textured, mottled grey rug anchors the arrangement, while a minimalist floor lamp with a slim metal stem and a black cylindrical head provides accent lighting. The composition is clean, balanced, and suitable for modern interior design visualisations.

The download is a 152 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into your SketchUp project, import the components as a single group or explode them to manage individual elements within your layers. Use the native scale tool to ensure the footprint aligns with your floor plan dimensions. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures; you can easily swap the fabric colour or wood finish using the paint bucket tool. Adjust the lighting intensity if using an external render engine to highlight the textures of the rug and upholstery fabric effectively.

This scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly in open-plan living rooms or apartment layouts. It works well in early-stage concept modelling or final presentation renders where a cohesive furniture arrangement is required. Designers might search for this when looking for neutral, contemporary seating solutions that offer a flexible L-shaped footprint. It pairs comfortably with minimalist or scandinavian interior styles, providing a versatile base that can be easily customized to suit various project palettes and client requirements.
